I’m neither vegan, vegetarian or require gluten-free by the way but I really do love this little cafe tucked away in one of Cardiff’s most beautiful arcades.
Had to pop in this morning for a few meetings and just made a bee-line to one of may favourite food haunts. Simple poached eggs on cheesy toast (not even sure if it’s on the menu!), and a really good cup of coffee.
The service is excellent – the ladies there are fab. You simply can’t fault it. Owned and managed by the Paul, Crumbs really is a Cardiff hidden gem. Do yourself a favour, give the chains a miss and eat indie – you won’t be sorry.
And if you do go for lunch, the potato pie is divine. I must have eaten it several hundred times over the years. Usually with some salad, grated cheddar and coleslaw. Scrummy!
