Let’s just start by saying we love Keyif! And not just because we love Turkish cuisine. We love the authenticity of Keyif. What you get with Keyif is the real thing. Authentic Turkish dishes, served by Turkish people using Turkish recipes and ingredients.

This restaurant shouldn’t just be enjoyed for those special occasions. It has that type of vibe that you could just call in for a drink or a cocktail and catch up with friends, loved ones or business associates – it’s a great place to meet. Turkish restaurants aren’t traditionally known for their extensive range of drink offerings but Keyif has a full bar and a mixologist on hand to concoct whichever cocktail takes your fancy.

Don’t just take our word for how good this restaurant is. Just read the comments from just a few of its regulars. They’ve been coming here since it opened and each time, they say, is better than the last.

What Keyif customers say…
“We have been coming here since Keyif opened. We come here at least once a week and for special occasions. We come with other friends as well. The food and service are consistently good. The staff are friendly. The food is fab. It’s excellent value. It’s definitely up there with the top Turkish restaurants which ever visited. We are big foodies. There’s a great wine selection as well for a small restaurant and decent beers. We particularly like the Pickled Hen and Doombar. Fabulous!” – Michael Wig, Michele Carter and Paul Clements from Penarth and Rumney

“We’ve been coming here since it opened. We knew Mehmet from his previous restaurant Saray and have followed him to Penarth. We come here at least twice a month. We’re away a lot and would come here more! The staff are very professional and friendly, and the quality of food is excellent. Keyif is a hidden gem in Penarth!” – Susan Donaldson, Michael Berntsen, Allan Davey from Cardiff
