Good Life Publishing is expanding its operations so there could be an opening for a talented photo journalist.
You’ll need to motivated, and be a creative thinker and productive writer. Good grammar and punctuation skills are essential and you’ll be able to back that up with a good eye and the ability to take great shots.
It helps if you can drive too and have your own car. Oh and a phone.
We currently run Canon equipment (5DII plus various lenses) but if you have your own and it happens to be Nikon, we wouldn’t hold that against you. You’ll really need your own kit – we’re precious about ours (and we’re using it).
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable shooting portraits (so you need to be good with people), still life (product shots) and landscape. From time to time you’d need to cover events too.
Being technically literate would be beneficial. For example, knowing your way around Word, social media, website applications (WordPress) would be equally useful.
Being able to use Photoshop or Lightroom is going to ring our bell too.
If this is something that might tick a few boxes for you, please drop a few samples (writing and shots) to Mark Roberts and tell us little about yourself and why you’re interested in the position.
