Cardiff To Cowbridge With A Boutique In Mind

, / 1771

Since lockdown has eased slightly, some of Cardiff and the Vale’s boutiques have been able to operate via a click and collect service. I recently bought three gorgeous dresses from one of my favourite boutiques in Cowbridge, Tallia. Owner Sue Jones has a great range of clothing which can take you from day to evening perfectly. I’ve bought a few pieces from K-Design, one of her brands.

I do love this particular brand and have bought several pieces over the years and I love the fact that they are comfortable and stylish. I love vibrant colourful clothes with an edge, and these fit the bill. Being 100% polyester, they don’t crease, so another brownie point for K-Design.

Cowbridge is only 25 minutes from Cardiff and is a lovely morning or afternoon out depending on whether you’re starting with shopping, coffee or lunch. Not only are there a number of fab boutiques, but foodies will also love the various eateries they have on offer. Whether it’s a café for a coffee and cake, or a restaurant for something more substantial, there’s certainly plenty of choice. Plus, the majority are independently owned and run, so even better!

Back to my purchases, Sue’s daughter Victoria is modelling the dresses I bought here but, as soon as we’re allowed to go out and there’s a reason to dress up again, I can’t wait to wear these little beauties!

For anyone who loves fashion like I do, it’s been really hard not being able to go to our favourite boutiques and get our daily/weekly/monthly fix. So shop online with Tallia at or message Tallia on their FB page at
