WELCOME

It’s been a funny old time hasn’t it? If the credit crunch hasn’t sent us into a pit of depression, then the threat of a swine flu pandemic did it’s best to bring us down. There’s something to be said for the Welsh stiff upper lip and the fact that we hunker down and work together to get through tougher times.

Whether you decide to stay at home or holiday abroad this summer, this issue is a bit of a travel fest and has something to suit all tastes.

If you’re planning to holiday close to home, then take a look at our review of Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Hurst House on the Marsh in Laugharne and The Queensberry Hotel in Bath. If you’re dead set on taking yourselves or your family abroad, then Sardinia should tick all the boxes. We also take a look at Cardiff Market, the city’s Victorian indoor market, which serves up a everything you could possibly think of, and more, under one gigantic roof.

Now that the warmer weather’s finally here (hurrah!) we can head to the shops which are full of colourful clothes, shoes and bags, to adorn our bodies and paraphernalia for our homes and gardens. Let’s give the shops our support and spend what we can.

Enjoy the summer!
