BAFTA Cymru Awards Ceremony
A great night was had by all at the 18th Annual BAFTA Cymru Awards Ceremony held at the Wales Millennium Centre.
Welsh celebrities such as Ruth Jones and acclaimed actress, Margaret John picked up awards as did Sharon Morgan and Ifan Huw Dafydd. Not surprisingly BBC Cymru Wales’ popular sci-fi series, Doctor Who has scooped a total of four awards in the Production, Craft and Performance categories.

Kamigata Superwoman event
Kamigata, the stylish salon in Llandaff was the venue for the June Superwoman event.
Tickets were £25, of which £5 went to charity. The Superwoman events host 160 women and has so far raised £15,000 for charity.

Gala Dinner in aid of NSPCC Cymru/Wales
The best of Welsh football and rugby came out to support NSPCC Cymru/Wales’ Building Brighter Futures Appeal at a black tie gala dinner.
600 guests enjoyed entertainment BBC’s Last choir standing winners Only Men Aloud, comedian Milton Jones, dance troupe Debbie Chapman Dancers from ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and West End performers, the RAT PACK. Hell’s Kitchen finalist, Danielle Bux, was also in attendance.
