Wales Rally GB, the final round and climax of the high-octane FIA World Rally Championship, revs into Wales from 4-7 December 2008.

Now in its 76th year, this legendary sporting event attracts the fastest and most spectacular rally cars, not to mention the world’s best drivers, including Sébastien Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen and Petter Solberg. In addition, Wales Rally GB is delighted to announce that this year’s event will see six-times MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi swapping two wheels for four to compete.

The Millennium Stadium stage on the evening of Saturday 6 December is set to be bigger and better than ever this year. Before the rally cars enter the stadium the scene will be set with an amazing ‘Fire and Ice’ themed entertainment extravaganza. Perfect for the whole family in the run up to Christmas, the show will be headlined by a girl band – The Saturdays. It will also include stunt daredevil driving, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and a fire-breathing show.
