WHITCHURCH
Cardiff agent voted winner at ‘Oscars’
Thomas & Rose Estate Agency, based in Whitchurch, Cardiff received the ultimate industry accolade on Friday 3 December by being crowned as the Gold winner of Best Single Office in Wales at the 2010 Estate Agency of the Year Awards in association with The Sunday Times and The Times, held at the Lancaster London Hotel.
The event, now in its eighth year, is recognised as the most important event in the industry calendar and attracted agents from across the country representing over 4,000 branches. It was once again supported by The Sunday Times and The Times and the winners were presented with their awards by one of Britain's most successful athletes, double Olympic gold medallist, James Cracknell.
Company Director, Sean McMahon said, "This award means a lot to us as it shows that our hard work and commitment to professionalism and customer care is working. After winning silver last year we looked hard at any way which we could improve our service and have also gained more industry qualifications in order to become a NAEA licensed estate agency. We have successfully integrated new technology and software into the agency as well, including Android, iPad and iPhone apps and ensuring we have a good presence on Twitter and Facebook."
The Judges' Report highlighted the particular qualities of Thomas & Rose stating, "Thomas & Rose continue to impress with their approach to agency. The director has ambition to become the most qualified agent in the country and his dedication to improvement is exemplary. A recent campaign called 'Relax', aimed at simplifying the moving process and giving consumers one point of contact for their entire experience, is outstanding and has enjoyed fantastic feedback.
The integrity and honesty of the entire team was clear from the outset and the continued success of this agency is well deserved."
