SPLASH OUT IN MERMAID QUAY
If fashion, accessories or gifts are on the shopping list, then Polka Dot, Zebra 2, Divine, Blink and Fabulous Welshcakes are for you. Jewellery, bags, scarves, shoes, hair accessories, designer glasses and sunglasses and unusual fashions plus jewellery boxes, photo frames, candles and mirrors - and, of course, delicious Welshcakes!
Looking for the perfect item to finish off the decor? Try Pethau Bychain for fabulous furnishings including lamps and mirrors, contemporary furniture, rugs, ceramics plus bespoke upholstery and textiles. Or check out the award winning Castle Galleries for an original painting, limited edition print or sculpture.
Why not be pampered by the team led by BHA Wales & South West Hairdresser of the Year, Ken Picton. Stylists, colourists, beauty therapists, nail technicians, make-up artists, cosmetic dentist and a dermatologist work together to ensure that a visit to the salon is always memorable.
With more than twenty waterfront restaurants, cafés and bars, Mermaid Quay is a great place to eat, drink and be merry. Whether you are looking for a brilliant burger or the perfect pizza, an idyllic Italian or an authentic Asian meal, wonderful Welshcakes, freshly ground coffee, something from the delicious deli, to dine in real luxury or even just to have a beer by the water, there's something suitable at Mermaid Quay.
Mimosa Kitchen & Bar - a modern and stylish 'gastro bar' - attracts a cosmopolitan crowd with its bustling yet relaxing ambience and emphasis on locally sourced produce. Meanwhile, Bayside Brasserie offers an oasis of style and the best of modern European cuisine while Garcon's traditional French brasserie chic creates an authentic Parisian feel.
And, for entertainment, make sure you drop into the Glee Club - Cardiff's first and finest comedy club. The 450-seat venue offers top-notch national and local comedians together with drinking, dancing and great food all under one roof.

CARDIFF BAY
Divine Jewellery
Owners Marie Jones and Michelle Smith opened Divine, based in Cardiff Bay's Mermaid Quay following the phenomenal success of its sister shop in Porthcawl.
Women have cottoned on to the constantly updated ranges of costume jewellery, which are reasonably priced, stylish and in an array of colours and textures. Marie and Michelle source their jewellery, bags, scarves and accessories from all over the world. The team also offer jewellery events in your home, with the hostess receiving 10% of the sales on the night in goods - a perfect opportunity for a night in with your friends over a drink and nibbles.

Fabulous Welshcakes
Jo Roberts had a dream and the award-winning Fabulous Welshcakes in Cardiff Bay is the result.
Hot off the griddle from a traditional welshcake recipe using Welsh butter and free range eggs, flavours such as Chocolate & Orange and Lemon & Pistachio beckon from the shop with their delicious aroma. What's more, gluten free welshcakes are available.
The shop is a real treat and sells Welsh crafts, local jams and preserves plus gorgeous woven woolen gifts from Melin Tregwynt and ceramics by Keith Brymer Jones. Wedding favours and corporate gifts are available on request.
