One of only a handful of remaining independent jewellers in Cardiff, Christopher George Jewellers was started in 1979 by father and son team George and Christopher Dagley. Nearly 40 years on they are still a family run store in the heart of Cardiff city centre, with the values of traditional independent jewellers, and the added bonus of a global online presence.

We asked Manager Alun Williams about the team “We currently employ a great team of sales assistants of varying ages and experiences. Christopher George offers many diamond ring collections that are designed and unique, to themselves.
However, if you’re looking for a truly unique piece of jewellery Christopher George has the answer in their own diamond ring collection where you can select your particular diamond(s) and then choose your own setting (making it truly unique to you) Their onsite diamond setters will then set it for you, often within the hour.
We love that idea and asked Alun what else sets Christopher George apart from other jewellers “We have onsite goldsmiths and watchmakers which means we can do a lot more for our customers without having to send their items away. We have one of the largest selections of pre-owned jewellery and rings in South Wales, and we carry some of the most popular jewellery brands including Nomination, Couer de Lion & Clogau to name a few.”
Also, if you’re looking for a valuation for insurance purposes, probate, or for sale, their on-site valuation experts, as well as a visiting FIRV (Fellow of the Institute) registered valuer, are able to offer a full range of valuation services on all items of jewellery and watches.
