Janet Amos awarded Employee of the Year
“The retail industry employs over 1.8 million people, so to win this award is a fantastic achievement”, said the judges at Retail Bulletin’s’ People in Retail Awards as they named Janet Amos, Sales Associate at Ernest Jones jewellers, Employee of the Year.
Jan’s manager Jason Evans said, “ Jan has given nothing but 100% commitment to her role, team and customers alike.” Jan fought off tough competition to win her award and the judges said, “Jan has demonstrated commitment and passion for her job and has been an inspiration to her colleagues.” Jan attributes her success to putting the customer first. “It’s nice to get excited with them about their purchase; they could be buying an engagement ring or a present and these things mean a lot to people.”

Tony King Architects are now a Big Issue
To coincide with the release of their first ever brochure, Tony King Architects, who have developed particular experience in social and private housing developments, have become the first architect’s practice to become corporate subscribers of The Big Issue Cymru, the charity who specialise in helping the homeless.
Tony King Architects who also specialise in mixed office and retail schemes, refurbishments and listed buildings have recently achieved planning approval for two schemes of ninety houses and apartments for Newydd Housing Association in South Wales.
