Our wonderful Bay. One of Cardiff’s many pride and joys, the Bay has seen rapid change due to the Urban Development Programme, and tourism figures consistently remind us that this has paid off. Yes, the city centre is heaving with food outlets, but head down to the Bay for a dinner with a difference.
Overlooking the boat-peppered marina, you’ll feel you’re in the Mediterranean while you ponder between Valentino’s Italian; good old American fare at Gourmet Burger Kitchen; lively Mexican at Las Iguanas; or a hint of class with Cote Brassiere.
If you’re feeling up to a post-meal stroll, walk the Barrage to Penarth, the gorgeous Vale of Glamorgan town, esplanade and pier, or head to Portland House for some live music.
